Languages and language combinations
The core activities of Jetten Translations are to conduct English to Dutch and Dutch to English translations.
But Jetten Translations also offers (practically) all other languages and language combinations thanks to its comprehensive database of competent, qualified translators! Just state the source and target languages, and we will find the most suitable translator!
Specialist areas
I specialise in translations in the followings areas:
-
legal (e.g., deeds, court documents, contracts, agreements, certificates, diplomas)
-
financial / economic (e.g., annual reports, annual accounts, investment reports, prospectuses)
-
commercial (e.g., correspondence, advertising and promotional materials)
-
technical (e.g., user’s instructions, manuals)
-
environmental (e.g. soil survey reports)
-
ICT (e.g., websites, help texts)
But, being a university-educated all-rounder, I can handle a very large number of disciplines!
Certified translations
Being a sworn translator, I can of course also provide you with certified translations, whether fitted with an apostille or not. Thus, I translate deeds for civil-law notaries or their clients but also diplomas, certificates and the like for people who wish to emigrate to another country.
Software
I work with many different software titles to meet customer needs to the greatest possible extent. Software titles I work with include:
- Microsoft Office 2007, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, FrontPage and Publisher
- Adobe Acrobat Professional 8.0 (PDF)
- SDLX Trados 2007
- Déjà Vu X
- many electronic dictionaries (such as the Grote Van Dale E-N and N-E, the Legal Lexicon and the Financial/Economic Lexicon)
On request, I can however work with other (word-processing and DTP) programs as well, on the principle that “the customer is always right”. Just ask if your text to be translated has a special format.
Methods of delivery
I can deliver my translations in different ways:
- as a file attached to an e-mail message (preferred method)
- by regular post: as a print-out and/or on a CD or DVD
- by fax
Because of the signatures and stamps, certified translations are of course sent by regular post.
